LA. Elite Track Club is an AAU/USATF TC based out of the New Orleans area. We are a competitive Youth/Open/Masters track and field club. Athletes may choose to try any event offered and have the option of attending multiple track and field meets, from regular competition meets to national level meets.
We will have 1 main summer season starting with Spring off season training in April. Winter Season will be focused on training and developing young athletes in sprints, hurdles, middles distance, field events, Pentathlon and Heptathlon. Athletes will practice track and field fundamentals while developing individual abilities.
Training includes stabilization endurance, strength endurance, maximum strength and power. Athlete will have the chance to compete in various events such as the sprints, distance, jumps, throws, hurdles and relays.
My self and those who are involved in this program is committed in maintaining high standards while also allowing the kids to have a fun and positive experience with those who are in involved.Not only is this program for Kids, it is also a program for adults who want to get in shape, or live a healthy life. Working out is a key to living a healthy lifestyle and a healthy spirit.

The Club is managed by Coach McKee
Coach McKee is a 2 x NCAA All-American in the Long Jump and a Former World Class Sprinter/Jumper. I was ranked top 10 in the World & USA in the Long Jump in 1990, 1991 & 1992. I competed professionally in track & field for 10 years and a member of 5 USA National Teams. I had the opprotunity of trying out for the USA Olympic trials in 1988 & 1992, placing 5th at the 1992 Olympic Trials in New Orleans. Texas Relays Stadium Long Jump Record Holder set in 1991.
Gordon McKee, Texas State 1988, 1989 and 1990 Long Jump Champion; 1989 Long Jump All-American; Finished fifth in long jump at 1992 U.S. Olympic Trials.

I've had the opprotunity of coaching track & field and variuos sports at the college and high school levels over the past 33 years. I ran my own youth track clubs in the New Orleans area, Texas and Arizona.
LA. ELITE T.C. athletes will compete in AAU/USATF, Junior Olympic and USA Junior Track & Field competitions on a State, Regional, National level.
